Science, research, and development at the Kralovske Vinohrady University Hospital (KVUH) fall under the purview of the Vice President for Science, Research, and Collaboration with the Third Faculty of Medicine at Charles University, who oversees the strategic management and coordination of projects across the entire hospital. The department supports innovation, modern treatment methods, and the long-term technological and organizational development of KVUH.

Our role

• development of scientific and research activities in clinical and laboratory settings
• methodological guidance and support for projects from concept to implementation
• management of national and international grants for science and development
• coordination and implementation of clinical trials
• effective fundraising and financial management
• support for development projects in areas such as digitization, cybersecurity, and infrastructure modernization
• development of cooperation with domestic and international partners
