KVUH’s global and social responsibility stems from its role as a healthcare and research institution. In an international context, we focus on issues that transcend national borders—particularly access to healthcare, the sharing of expertise, and a responsible approach to research.

Many activities in this area arise from the initiative of KVUH employees, often in collaboration with foreign partners, international organizations, or the nonprofit sector.

Our experts actively participate, for example, in the activities of Doctors Without Borders, the MEDEVAC program, or the Doctors on the Street initiative.
