Affiliation: The hospital administration strongly recommends that all staff members include their department’s affiliation in all professional texts containing clinical research results or clinical case reports; that is, publications should state the hospital’s affiliation as follows:
“Fakultní nemocnice Královské Vinohrady” (in Czech) or
“Kralovske Vinohrady University Hospital” (in English).
The name of the specific department (in its official form as stated in the KVUH organizational regulations) may also be included, but it is not considered an essential element of the publication. If the hospital affiliation is not included in a professional text, the author is required to provide a written justification upon request. The disclosure of the source of funding within the publication is mandatory for all publications that present research results where any part was supported by a specific funding source (grant, EU project, Charles University research program, private sponsor, etc.). In accordance with this requirement, the source of funding must be precisely stated.
